My Roots

With a strong dedication to conservative values and a background rooted in community service, I'm honored to advocate for the people of Coeur d'Alene, Post Falls, and the surrounding areas.

Originally from a small town in Iowa, I've proudly called Idaho home since 1990. Over the years, I've raised my four children here and actively contributed to our state's growth and prosperity.

My professional experience spans various fields, including daycare, retail, and management. With an AS Accounting Assistant degree from NIC, I'm equipped with the skills needed to navigate the complexities of public policy and fiscal responsibility.

Background

In 2022, I was elected to represent District 4B in the Idaho House of Representatives, defeating the incumbent and earning the trust of my constituents. Since then, I've remained steadfast in my commitment to conservative principles, sponsoring legislation that protects our freedoms, strengthens our economy, and upholds the values that make Idaho great.

As your representative, I prioritize accessibility, transparency, and accountability. I believe in listening to the concerns of my constituents and working tirelessly to address them in the legislature. Whether it's advocating for education reform, promoting economic development, or safeguarding our constitutional rights, I'm dedicated to fighting for the issues that matter most to Idahoans.

The Issues

Main Issues of Focus:

Limiting the Powers of the Executive Branch:
- Idaho's emergency powers should be temporary and subject to legislative oversight.
- The Governor's broad powers during the COVID-19 pandemic highlight the need for checks and balances.
- As your representative, I will work to ensure that emergency powers are limited and accountable to the people.

Protecting Children from Grooming and Sexualization:
- Children are vulnerable to exploitation, especially in schools and online.
- We must enact laws to hold schools and libraries accountable for protecting children from harmful content.
- As a parent and legislator, I will prioritize the safety and well-being of Idaho's children.

Reducing the Tax Burden on Idaho Citizens by Reining in Government Spending:
- Government spending should be responsible and focused on essential services.
- Surplus tax revenues should be returned to taxpayers through tax relief.
- I will advocate for fiscal responsibility and lower taxes to empower Idaho families and businesses.
